Anchor

Anchor

ANCHOR arranged by Don Ives and written by Hillsong

I have this hope

As an anchor for my soul

Through every storm

I will hold to You

With endless love

All my fear is swept away

In everything

I will trust in You

There is hope in the promise of the cross

You gave everything to save the world You love

And this hope is an anchor for my soul

Our God will stand unshakable

Unchanging One

You who was and is to come

Your promise sure

You will not let go

There is hope in the promise of the cross

You gave everything to save the world You love

And this hope is an anchor for my soul

Our God will stand unshakable

There is hope in the promise of the cross

You gave everything to save the world You love

And this hope is an anchor for my soul

Our God will stand unshakable

Your Name is higher

Your Name is greater

All my hope is in You

Your word unfailing

Your promise unshaken

All my hope is in You

We have this HOPE as an Anchor for the SOUL – Hebrews 6:19

Friend, if you believe in JESUS, you have a LIVING HOPE that ANCHORS your soul. And Anchor holds secure because it is lashed to the steadfast Word and immutable character of GOD. He is FAITHFUL, and His promises are TRUE (Joshua 21:45; Psalm 33:4; Hebrews 10:23). Imagine an anchor chain that extends from heaven to earth that will hold fast. With Jesus as our anchor, no power of darkness and no earthly opposition can harm us (Romans 8:31–34).

Friend, do you know the ONE that calms the waves and rebukes the storm? Trust Him now. He is JESUS who SAVES.
